Our St John Emergency Medical Dispatchers are unique. Everyday they touch a variety of different people's lives - from the most dire of emergencies, to providing a calming voice in the ears of concern.
They are the unsung heroes, a voice at the end of the phone who waits until emergency services arrive at the scene. These people do a tough job, without the recognition they deserve. These unique individuals don't ask for recognition, they are proud of what they do, and are the very best at it. People who aspire to help others and assist in saving lives, do not think of a call taker role, yet this is what Emergency Medical Dispatchers do everyday.
